You should fill Form 6(available online and at voters registration centers) and submit to your Voter Facilitation Center along with your address proof and age proof. You will get an acknowledgment for the same. Once you submit the form, your name will be included in the Electoral Roll. When your name appears in the electoral role, you will be given information notices by the Electoral Registration Officers of your area. These notices contain your name and age, house number, constituency number, and polling booth or part number.
You need to go to the registration center (officially called Designated Photographic Locations or DPL)of your ward and get an Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) made.
You may register at Jaagore and make use of resources like Form 6, your registration center etc. Jaagore is also running a national campaign aiming to register 1 Billion voters in the next five years and is trying to spread awareness among citizens.
